Shaping the structure of the Constitution

Author's note: I have recently created a project on the American Revolution. My thesis statement was, 'How did the American Revolution shape the structure of the Constitution?' So, I have decided  to write a piece explaining this question.

In this piece I will focusing on good organization, because if I don't have good organization my explaining of my thesis statement will make no sense. I will also be focusing on a high proficient thesis statement. I will be focusing on this because I have trouble writing thesis statements usually.

The Constitution of the United States
en.wikipedia.org

Structure. That is what society craves today. Structure is the building blocks of our civilization today. Without structure America would fall apart. But what really is our structure? Well it is the Constitution of Independence. This constitution hasn't only given us the structure we need, what we had wanted, but this wouldn't have happened without something that had started it all. . . The American Revolution.

The American Revolution had set everything into action. It had  given everyone the idea that we could do or be whatever or whoever we wanted. The american revolution started April 19, 1775. From then on, us Americans had started to build the structure of the constitution. If there was no American Revolution there would be no Constitution of the United States. That means that there would be no United States in general, and we would still be under the rule of Great Britain.

Throughout the war America had started to realize that they could actually become their own country, and that it wasn't just a dream that helped the adults get through the night. After many victories and loses from each side they finally called it quits in 1783 with the Treaty of Paris. The treaty of Paris(also known as the Peace of Paris was signed on September 3, 1783.

During this battle, the Americans had worked hard for their freedom. In the end there was about 10,400 casualties and about 24,300 injured all together when the war finally ended.Everyone worked as hard as they could to get what they wanted, but in the end America had ended up winning, and then came the constitution.

So, if America had never started the American Revolution, the constittution never would have been born. So, the American Revolution shaped the constitution by giving it the backbone to grow into what it is today.

Mistakes

Author's note: I haven't written anything in a while so I decided to finally write another story for my blog. I decided to write about whatever just popped up into my mind and just go with it. So this piece might not be my best piece out there. But enjoy!

Why do we do things we do? We don't mean to mess up, or screw around. It just happens. That is just the nature of a young, inexperienced teenager... To mess up. After we do people shouldn't judge us off of our mistakes but if we try to fix those mistakes is what we should be judged on. No one will ever become mature if we never pick up the things we break. Sometimes down the road we will need people to help us pick up our mistakes and get over them. Those people will be friends, family, teachers, and sometimes if we are unlucky even police.

Even if that happens though you still have no right to judge them and try to bring them down. You should try to pick them back up and help dust them off. That is what a kind person would do. It shouldn't matter what they look like; African American, Caucasian, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Muslim. Nothing separates them from us, or even makes you better then them. We are all equal, no matter what.

What if you had some trouble in your life, and you needed someone just to talk to,and no one wanted to talk to you. How hurt would you be? How unwanted you feel? This is why you should never bring anyone down. Never turn your back to someone and always welcome them with open arms. Then maybe, just maybe you might've just made a friend that you will keep in touch with for the rest of your life. So remember, no one is perfect and it takes a real person to accept that and look past everyone's flaws and get on with there lives.

Carpe Diem

Author's note: Lately I have been listening to this band called Zac Brown Band. In alot of their songs they sing about seizing the moment and enjoying the ride. So, I have decided to write a piece on what I think of whenever I listen to their music. I hope you enjoy!

In this piece I will be focusing on an advanced thesis statement. I will reach this goal by putting in a quote from a influential source. I will also be working on advanced sentence fluency, so the sentences will flow together and the piece will sound better. I will reach this goal by adding a variety of simple, compound, complex, and compound/complex sentences.

Life will flash before your eyes if you don't slow down. Sometimes the most beautiful things can happen and you won't notice it because you rush through life. Once in a while shift gears and head into the slow lane and just glide. 'It's funny how time can make you realize, we are running out of it.'  So live, love, and Carpe diem.

Carpe diem. Such an unusual word, but actually it isn't English. It is Latin. Its translation is: Seize the day. How doe we as people seize the day exactly? Well one way is to forget what has happened in the past, imagine all the amazing things that will come in the future, and cherish the present.

Some ways to cherish the moment is to take a look from outside of the big picture and look at how lucky you are to be living your life.Just look at everything amazing that has happened to you during your life. You have recieved love in many different forms, and you get to experience life in every way possible. So, just accept everything that had happened to you, and gain from those experiences. These experiences are what form us and make us who we are. And who we are is the most important thing to know in our short lives.

One of the most important things in life is to love and be loved. Make sure to tell someone important to you that you love them. If you don't, in a few years they might be just memories floating in the wind. They will be lost and will never be found.

So, love, live and laugh. Make sure to glide in the slow lane once in awhile. But always remember how lucky you are to be living this wonderful life.Always live life to the fullest. And, remember Carpe diem.
